Most owners never ask for help with AI, and it is not because they think they have it handled.
It is because nobody has ever told them what they would be buying. Consulting gets sold as a noun. Strategy. Transformation. Enablement. You cannot picture any of that, so you cannot picture asking for it, so you do not.
So here is the shape of the thing I built, plainly, including the price and including how it ends.
The first month is the heaviest. We find the one constraint that is costing you money, which is almost never the thing you would have guessed, and we fix that one. Not a roadmap of eleven things. One, running, in your business, on your systems.
Months two and three we do the same again, and I start handing the work over while it is still small enough to hand over.
By months four to six the point is that your own people are running it and I am mostly answering questions. From month seven the plan is that you drop a tier, hand it to a permanent hire, or stop.
That is written down before you start, and it is the part I would want to read if I were the one buying.
Most retainers are built to grow. This one is built to shrink.
I want to be honest about why, because it is not generosity. A retainer that grows has to keep finding reasons to exist, and eventually those reasons stop being about you. I spent years in HR watching capable teams get replaced by a dependency on somebody outside the building, and I am not interested in being that.
What you own at the end is the whole point. The systems run on your accounts, not mine. Your team knows how they work, because they were the ones being taught while it was built. The instructions are written down in your words, so a new hire can pick them up. If I disappeared, none of it stops.
The scale starts at $2,500 a month and the main rung is $5,000, depending on how much of me you need. I put the numbers on the page rather than making you ask, because making you ask is a tactic and I do not like being on the receiving end of it.
One more thing, and I would rather you hear it from me than work it out.
I have not had this conversation with anyone yet. I built the offer, wrote the step-down, and set the prices before having a single one of these on the books, and I am telling you the shape of it now rather than after it is safe. That is the same thing I have been doing in front of you all year. If you would rather wait until I have a wall of logos, that is a completely reasonable way to buy and I will not be offended.
If you would rather be early, the whole thing is written out, step-down and prices included, and you can book a 20-minute call from that page: catalystworks.consulting/fx/nl
Bring the one problem you have not been able to fix. Twenty minutes, nothing to prepare, and if it is not the kind of problem this is built for I will say so and point you somewhere better.
If you would rather not book anything yet, just reply to this email with that one problem instead. Same answer, no calendar.
And if this is not for you but a name came to mind while you were reading, that name is the single most useful thing you can send me today. Someone running a company of ten to fifty people who keeps saying they should be doing something about all this. You do not need to introduce us. Just tell me who they are and I will take it from there.
Three things before you go
Forward this to one business owner who is trying to figure out where AI fits in their business. One forward is more useful to me than ten retweets.
